The Argentina Embassy in London brings you a unique opportunity to hear about the best natural resources opportunities in the province of Jujuy.
Argentina benefits from rich natural resources, a highly literate population, an export-oriented agricultural sector, and a diversified industrial base. The province of Jujuy, located in the extreme northwest of the country, at the borders with Chile and Bolivia is rich in natural recourses including but not limited to: Gold, Copper, Lead, Silver, Zinc, Lithium, Oil, and Gas.
JEMSE, the region’s development agency, setup to promote inwards investment into the region, has handpicked the most economically viable and lucrative projects in the region to showcase in the United Kingdom.
Qualified geologists, from a portfolio of over 20 projects, carefully selected four mining projects.
Each project is furnished with: geological reports, geochemistry reports, geological mapping, radiometric images, inferred reserves and drilling recommendation.
They cover an area of approximately 36,700 hectares where a plethora of mining assets can be found including Gold, High-grade Copper, Lead, Silver, Zinc, Silver, Lead and Rare Earths and Lithium.
In addition to these lucrative mining assets, JEMSE will also be developing large-scale Solar Plants.
Due to its location and altitude, Jujuy has one of the world’s best insolation radiations, making the Solar Panel more efficient and having a quicker payback than in many regions in the world.
The Solar Plants will play a vital role in the energy mix for the region of Jujuy and the mining community, which is one of the main initiatives of the Governor and JEMSE.
The energy will be used to power community of Perico and the other the mining community in the north of the province.
